There are lots of ways to roast/cook/boil Chestnuts. My favorite is to score one side, boil for 5 minutes then bake in oven at 400-425 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. The skin peels off and you can eat plain or Salt & Pepper; Olive Oil and Herbs; Honey & Butter…take your pick between sweet and savory! :-) If you’ve never tried Chestnuts before; they are a soft, sweet nut.
